What is Cine Lab

Cine Lab is a gathering. A small group of filmmakers who get together, pick up cameras, build scenes, break them, and figure things out — together.

There's no instructor standing at the front. No curriculum. The session is shaped by who walks through the door and what they're curious about that day. You might be two years in or fifteen. Doesn't matter — everyone's working on something, everyone's watching, everyone's talking.

On real jobs there's no room to try things. No time to ask why. This is where you get that back.

No teachers.

No students.

Just filmmakers.

Peer to peer
You'll learn as much from the person next to you as from anyone else in the room. That's the point.

Bring your questions
The session takes shape around what people actually want to dig into — movement, light, scene-building, whatever's on your mind.

Make something real
Not exercises. Not demos. We build actual scenes with actors, light them, shoot them, and watch them back together.

Honest conversation
We talk about the work directly. What's working, what isn't, and why. No egos, no politeness for the sake of it.
